TWO SESSIONS FOR BACHELOR DEGREE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (BIT)
IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2019/2020

Are you employed or self employed and would like to study Bachelor Degree while working? In the academic year 2019/2020 Arusha Technical College through ICT Department will offer Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (BIT) in two sessions:

Study Plan:

1. First session will start from 07:30 AM to 15:30 PM (Monday to Friday).

2. Second session (Suitable for employed and self employed applicants)

a) Lecture and Tutorial sessions will start from 16:00 PM to 21:00 PM Monday to Saturday.

b) Assignments and Self study will be conducted from 07:30 AM to 15:00 PM.

Entry Requirements:

a) Qualified applicants should be holders of advanced Certificate of secondary Education (ACSEE) with at least two principal passes in Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Economics with total points not below 4.0

OR

b) Qualified applicants should be holders of Ordinary Diploma certificate (NTA level 6) in Computer Science OR Information Technology OR Information System OR Software Engineering OR Civil Engineering OR Civil and Irrigation Engineering OR Transportation/highway Engineering OR Water Supply and Sanitation OR irrigation Engineering OR Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Automotive Engineering Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering OR Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR Electrical Engineering OR Auto-Electrical Engineering OR Laboratory Science Technology OR Education with Science OR any other Science and Allied Technologies all with at least GPA of 3.0 AND at least four O-Level passes (Ds and above) OR equivalent foreign qualifications as established by either NECTA or VETA

c) Qualified applicants should be holder of Full Technician Certificate in in Computer Science OR Information Technology OR Information System OR Software Engineering OR Civil Engineering OR Civil and Irrigation Engineering OR Transportation/highway Engineering OR Water Supply and Sanitation OR irrigation Engineering OR Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Automotive Engineering Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering OR Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR Electrical Engineering OR Auto-Electrical Engineering OR Laboratory Science Technology OR Education with Science OR any other Science and Allied Technologies all with at least GPA of 3.0 AND at least four O-Level passes (Ds and above) OR equivalent foreign qualifications as established by either NECTA or VETA.

Mode of Application:

Applicant should apply through ATC Online Admission System https://www.oas.atc.ac.tz. The college provide help desk on how to apply through our system. The Deadline for application is 13th September 2019.

Duration:

The study period is (03) three years.

Tuition Fee:

Tuition Fee is Tsh 1,200,000/- per year paid in installment for two semesters.
