Did you know?

If you are a currently registered student at Arusha Technical College, you can take advantage of the many free and low cost services available through the Student Health Care Center. The ATC also has information on local health care providers to which you can be referred for complex problems and also Students Registered at ATC are Directly Registered With The National Health Insurance Fund.

You do not need an appointment for most of the services provided by the center. Services are available only to ATC students. Many services are free. The ATC is currently staffed by a full-time Registered Nurse Specialist. We encourage you to utilize our services and make us an integral part of your Studies at ATC.  We are committed to working with you to create a safe and positive environment that will meet your health care needs.

The College has a cafeteria, which has a sitting capacity of approximately 500 people at a time. Services provided by the cafeteria include meals for students and other customers holding seminars or meetings within the College premises. In compliance with the policy of public private-partnership, the college has subcontracted cafeteria services to a Private Service provider for effective and efficient operation.Students are not allowed to cook in halls of residences and therefore are adviced to use the catering services approved by the College.

 

Currently the College has a limited number of rooms in its three hostels of which two are for male and the third is for female students capable of accommodating 348, 260 and 200 students respectively. Provision of accommodation place is a privilege. Currently, Campus accommodation is obtained upon application by full time B.Eng students who are required to pay a prescribed accommodation fee. As for OD students, campus accommodation is a privilege provided to the Government sponsored students. This privilege can be withdrawn in the event of the breach of the College Hostel accommodation. A Recently Built Hostel III for Female Students Arusha Technical. Student accommodated at the college hostel must observe the rules and regulations applicable to the college hostel, these include to all students to cook in the hostel.
